Founded in June 1978 we have gathered a wealth of experience in the kitchen business, and have been at the forefront of the kitchen trends that have come and gone across the decades. Always ready to adopt new ideas, our ethos of investing in the best manufacturing equipment has stood us in good stead in our industry and our business has gone from strength to strength. Consequently, not only can we offer the latest colours and door styles to create your dream kitchen, we will design and build it to your exact requirements in our own factory. Our kitchen’s are supplied to you using our own vehicle, ensuring everything arrives in pristine condition and at the time we’ve agreed with the customer.
Being a small, local family business, we care about our customers and are gratified to quite often find ourselves supplying a kitchen to the children and grandchildren of customers of years ago. Now in our 40th year of trading, we have weathered the recessions and watched the large companies come and go, but throughout, we have kept these values, clear and true, taking pride in our work and giving value for money! We’d like to believe it is what has kept customers returning and referring friends to us.

Complete ‘step-by-step’ design and planning service
We will design your kitchen, Completely free of charge and give you a cad plan, a colour 3D perspective of your finished kitchen and a full itemised quotation.
The first step is to visit our showroom to have a chat with us about your requirements. We will show you what we offer in our many kitchen ranges, worktops, handles, sinks and appliances.
If you have your own fitter or want to fit it yourselves, that’s fine. We just need a floor plan, showing the ‘footprint’ of the room, giving wall lengths, window and doors sizes and positions etc. From this we will produce your plan and either email it to you or ring you when it is ready and you can come in for it.
We like to give a great service and do not just manufacture and supply. We support the fitter, (ours or yours) throughout the installation process until you have your dream kitchen.

Our workshop is staffed by a highly skilled and experienced team of joiners and cabinet makers. Having our own workshop equipped with latest technology in production machinery offers flexibility and allows us to guarantee precise quality, as well as giving us control over delivery timescales. It also gives us the ability to adjust to any unique requirements you may have.

If you require a reliable fitter to install your kitchen we can put you in touch with one of three local, top notch kitchen installers that we know and trust. Having used them for many years, we know that they take great pride in their work and will do credit to Merlin kitchens. We do not just manufacture and supply, we like to give a great service throughout the whole installation process, supporting the fitter (yours or ours), until you have your dream kitchen.
